Graduated from Department of Geography in University of Indonesia. Already involved in a lot of projects with Government Organization and/or Non-Government Organization, mostly about mapping for disaster risk and social development, environment, and conservation. Back in 2011 until 2014, I was working with Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team (HOT) for community mapping with OpenStreetMap and other open source software for geospatial, also with Australia-Indonesia Facility for Disaster Reduction (AIFDR), and Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Bencana (BNPB) for Scenario Development for Contingency Planning (SD4CP).
Now I am based in Christchurch, New Zealand to study Master of Geographic Information Science at the University of Canterbury.
I really like to meet new people and share knowledge especially about geography includes landscape and people. I’m on mission to broaden my geography knowledge because I don’t like learning things just only based on the books and theories, I really would like to see, hear, and feel it by myself. Don’t hesitate if anyone want to contact me.
My personal philosophy is always fulfill your life with good things to the fullest. Do great things, don’t do stupid things (
even sometimes I did, such as drunk and threw up in the street), connect with everyone as you can and enjoy your life. Even I know that the more I moving forward, more challenges and more dangers ahead. But I always keep moving and never look back. Because if you rely on something from your past, you won’t go forward, you won’t go anywhere, and you won’t reach your goal.
This is my personal blog which I started in 2008. I called Whatever-I-Said because I wrote whatever things that matters (though some of them are not really matters) that I would like to tell to everyone. A lot people thought that I should change my blog name to be Whatever-I-Typed. Well… but I keep with Whatever-I-Said until this time.
